Just as the title says, whats your favorite concert you have been too?

Mine is going to have to be Aerosmith.

I saw them at an outdoor arena(baseball field) and they were absolutely fantastic. The show was pure fun, and the band sounded great. Steven Tyler knows how to work a crowd, and his voice sounds just like it does on record live. It was pouring down raining during the show but in all honesty no one cared. People were just there having a good time, and thats the concert vibe I like the most.(I've been to calm ones and crazy ones. Both are fun but they are just different.)

Coming in close for second is U2. I caught them last year and I must say they are probably the best touring band right now.

Bono has a great voice, the edge is just amazing to watch, and hearing the crowd sing along to "I still haven't found what I'm looking for" gave me chills.

When I look back at both of those nights I still can't do anything but smile. :)

So, whats the concert that you liked the most?(wether it be rock, jazz, country, whatever.)

ok I have three.

1= Bruce Springsteen at Bingley Hall Staffordshire , way back in 1981. Btw Bingley hall may sound posh but it was actually a converted cow shed in the middle of a farm.

2= Springsteen again at Roundhay Park, Leeds, as part of the Born in the USA tour in 1985.

3= Bob Dylan at Wembley London in October 1987. This was a memorable evening, not only for Dylan. This was the night of the Great Storm. The whole country was blown to pieces, over 15 million trees were torn up. I'm sure every Briit on this board remembers that night.

I haven't gotten to catch a springsteen show yet. :(

I really wanted to see him last time he came through, but it was tour supporting that last country album. I wasn't crazy about the music on that one so I decided to hold off and hope he comes back.

I think I've seen Springsteen each time he's been to this country since 1981, including the Seeger sessions tour last year. That was different but still fun. He played a few 'normal' Springsteen songs alongside the country stuff.

Edit: I missed him once. As part of the Ghost of Tom Joad tour he played very small 'intimate' venues. He came to Manchester and played a place called the Apollo Theatre. It sold out instantly and I couldn't afford the black market prices. :(

The Beatles at Maple Leaf Gardens back in the late '60s.

The Rolling Stones twice at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto along with 10,000+ other fans back in the late '70s and '80s if I remember correctly.

Fleetwood Mac at Exhibition Stadium along with 60,000+ other fans in the early '80s.

The Tubes at Massy Hall along with 6,000 other fans in the late '70s.
