notter59
I have used CCcleaner for quite awhile now. The only problem I've run into is disappearing shortcuts. The most recent occurrance was on a Windoes XP SP2 system that had just been rebuilt from scratch. I ran CCleaner, 1.33.382, and a number of shortcuts disappeared off the desktop. I've never seen it do anything abnormal on my W2K system though. Is there a way to tell it not to touch shortcuts?
TheFiresInTheSky
welcome to the forums notter it only deletes shortcuts that go to nothing and that dont work. its actually being deleted when you run the issues scan. next time just take a quick glance at what it says and you can choose not to delete some of them. JDPower
next time just take a quick glance at what it says and you can choose not to delete some of them. Although if they actually are dead links there's not much point keeping them (unless you are reinstalling something that the shortcuts are needed for)
