John K
I have a number of desktop files on my Windows 10 PC. Within each named folder, I have created shortcuts (e.g., website articles, videos). Recently, when I opened CCleaner’s “Uninstall” feature and saw “Programs to Remove” under the heading “Select a program from the list you want to remove from your computer.”, I was astonished to see each shortcut listed. Every one of the shortcuts version numbers was “1.0”. Why is it that shortcuts are listed, when it should be just programs? More importanty, how do I prevent CCleaner from listing desktop shortcuts? Your comments and solutions would be much appreciated. Kind regards, John K
