Elizabeth Koffron Eisen
I purchased C-Cleaner Professional for MAC this evening. Halfway through the installation, the program asked me if it was ok to install a "helper file". I did not authorize the helper file, lest it be a cleverly disguised snuck-in virus. Could someone please let me know what this helper file is, and, if it is OK, do I need to uninstall and reinstall C-Cleaner WITH the "Helper file"? Moderators Nergal Posted November 27, 2019 Moderators Share Posted November 27, 2019 I flagged down an admin to (sorry for the pun) help you. ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
