ActiveX and class issues problem

Just started using CCleaner today, as I found my computer was getting really slow and starting to freeze up regularly.

 

When I run Issues/Registry integrity/ActiveX and class issues, the status bar gets to 15% and then hangs. I've run the other searches independently and they work fine.

 

Any ideas how I can get this final part of the registry clean up to work?

Hi Gino and Welcome Sorry for the delayed response.

 

Download and launch DAF med (in my signature) > tools > repair permissions > go

 

 

I would like to add though that your problems sound like a more serious problem. Yes CCleaner will cleanup crap on your machine but the regular freezing I think is a bigger problem than your machine needing to be cleaned.
