trimmer
The "trim.bat" and "LaunchCC.bat" is confusing to me. I ran "trim.bat" in CMD as administrator and it created a sub-folder named "#TRIMMER". It had CCleaner64 & x32, plus portable.dat and ccleaner.ini. I renamed a file to Winapp2.ini, I can't remember what it was originally. I ran CCleaner's "Analyze", in both frames (left & right panes). My Winapp2.ini got tidied up, the text is not jumbled.... like having notepad's Word Wrap un-checked. Everything seems to be OK, but I know I didn't do it correctly. I moved #TRIMMER folder (with all contents) to an external drive. I've been using CCleaner portable for years. There are great help and instructions at winapp2.com, and other sites but I haven't been able to understand all of it. This PC has W 7 SP 1 x64. Thanks in advance, and best regards. PS, I didn't use LaunchCC.bat, I didn't see it until after I ran trim.bat.
Moderators Nergal Posted September 25, 2017 Moderators Share Posted September 25, 2017 As trim and community winapp2 are not officially supported, we ask that you ask this question in the dedicated winapp2 thread https://forum.piriform.com/index.php?showtopic=32310 ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
