Microsoft Edge Cache Database and Internet Explorer needs to be closed to clean the Internet Cache

Since the Anniversary Update To Windows 10 Home Version 1607 (OS Build 14393.10) (KB3176929) has been applied, every time I run CCleaner v5.20.5668 (64-bit), I get the following message box appear:-

 

Microsoft Edge Cache Database and Internet Explorer needs to be closed to clean the Internet Cache.

 

Do you want CCleaner to close Microsoft Edge Cache Database and Internet Explorer?

 

There is a box to tick - Do not show me this message again.

 

 

As I use Google Chrome and not Microsoft Edge or Internet Explorer why does this message box appear?

 

 

I have read the article in FAQ relating to this issue:-

 

CCleaner isn’t able to clean files that are open in any program during the cleaning process. The databases that Edge uses to store data are also used by other programs on your computer to store their own information – these are normally system programs that use Edge’s functionality in order to access the internet. Therefore, if any of these are open and accessing Edge’s database whilst the clean is in progress, CCleaner will need to close the database in order for it to perform the clean. This is why the prompt will appear despite Edge being closed – a different program is accessing the Edge database.

 

 

How can I find out which programs are accessing the Edge database?

 

Also, what happens if I tick the box - Do not show me this message again, and then click YES to close the Microsoft Edge Cache Database and Internet Explorer?

 

Any help and advice would be appreciated.
