johnski
On a PC with Windows 10 installed multiple times on different disks and partitions Tools, System Restore displays the latest locked restore point from a different OS on a different Disk!!! So if we remove all restore points then we don't have any for the current OS! Have not checked if it displays multiple restore points from a different OS on a different disk, as currently we don't have many restore points. Could create a few, but probably best if you guys test this out! This will cause problems if we need to revert to an earlier Restore Point. hgerhards
I have a dual-boot desktop PC with Win8.1 and Win10 Pro installed on different drives. CCleaner displays all restore points of both OS in one list (sorted by date). A distinction of which restore point belongs to which OS is not possible. This is true for CCleaner used from either of the two OS. The Windows internal restore function only displays the *own* restore points.
