  1. On a PC with Windows 10 installed multiple times on different disks and partitions Tools, System Restore displays the latest locked restore point from a different OS on a different Disk!!! So if we remove all restore points then we don't have any for the current OS! Have not checked if it displays multiple restore points from a different OS on a different disk, as currently we don't have many restore points. Could create a few, but probably best if you guys test this out! This will cause problems if we need to revert to an earlier Restore Point.
  2. How does Tools, Uninstall determine the Size? Many applications (not all), display a different Size each time we 'Save to text file', even if the version has not changed. When we compare different install.txt files, this Size difference wrongly indicates that the software has changed. How can this be resolved?
  3. Please add the following to Speccy, to enable more comprehensive documentation of a PC. - CCleaner Uninstall, save to Text file - CCleaner Startup, save to Text file, ALL Startup tabs. ========== Also some suggestions for CCleaner, change the default names for Save to Text files, and prefix names with date, eg. yyyymmdd install.txt yyyymmdd startup windows.txt yyyymmdd startup ie.txt yyyymmdd startup firefox.txt yyyymmdd startup chrome.txt yyyymmdd startup tasks.txt yyyymmdd startup context.txt yyyymmdd registry.txt Prefix text file names with current date, could be a user selected Option. Would also be great if CCleaner had a command line option to clean all Old System Restore points. Regards, John
  4. The Tools, Uninstall list displays the date a program was installed. We save this list to a text file. We then change the timezone of the PC from UTC+10:00 to UTC-5:00. We then run CCleaner and save another list of the installed programs. We then use WinMerge to display the differences in the two text files. The program date has changed (to the day before), for a small number of programs, not all. Why is this date different for only a small number of programs? Maybe all have changed!, by the timezone difference, but depending upon the time of installation, the day may not have changed. Why does CCleaner display different dates anyway? Can this bug be fixed so we can compare txt files? See attached Patch file... Patch.txt
  5. CCleaner, Tools, Uninstall only displays one entry for 'Ms Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable', but WIndows 7, Control Panel, Uninstall a program displays multiple entries (sometimes 2 or 3). I assume these multiple entries are for different versions of this software. CCleaner... Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Microsoft Corporation 15/06/2011 300 KB 8.0.59193 Windows 7 Control Panel This PC has 2 entries. Another PC has 3 entries. See attached file...
  6. What about adding a command line option to run Tools, System Restore, delete all old System Restore points (keeping the latest one). This command could then be run before doing system backups, system imaging or defrags. Regards, John
