carsten888
After installing service pack 1 for windows 10, ccleaner disappeared from the app menu (start > all apps). I uninstalled and reinstalled ccleaner, but the menu-item doe snot seem to come back at all. I've made a desktop shortcut and tried to drag-and-drop that into the menu, but that does not seem to work that way. How to get the link to ccleaner back into the windows 10 start menu? Moderators nukecad Posted December 22, 2015 Moderators Share Posted December 22, 2015 If you right click on the desktop icon, you should see a 'Pin to start' option in the pop-up menu. *** Out of Beer Error ->->-> Recovering Memory *** Worried about 'Tracking Files'? carsten888
the thing is, the link to the actual program is not in there. I've tried on another laptop, and its there. I uninstalled and installed again, making sure the box to make a link in the start menu was checked, still no joy.
tinkerstoys
My win 10 update removed ccleaner from computer due to it not compatible with win 10. Now what?
Moderators mta Posted December 23, 2015 Moderators Share Posted December 23, 2015 @tinkerstoys, download and reinstall should do the trick. carsten888
solved. I rightclicked in the startmenu to open the location. Made a copy of the shortcut and renamed that. Then I assigned that to the startmenu. Then deleted the old shortcut and renamed the new shortcut to the original name.
