Someguy25
I did a quick format of a WD black drive in windows. I have since installed new things on that drive, but want to go back and look for files that got cleared in the format. Will Recova harm or interfer with current files/installations I have on the drive? Sorry I could not find an answer in the FAQ.
Moderators Nergal Posted December 18, 2015 Moderators Share Posted December 18, 2015 No, but the current files/installations may make the files you want less likely to be recovered as part/all of a file may be over written ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
