d_Takataka
I just installed my registered copy of CCleaner Pro, version 5.02.5101, 64 bit, on a new computer, running Windows 10 Pro. In the analysis, CClesaner only mentions the Internet Explorer and not Microsoft Edge. How can I get CCleaner to clean Microsoft Edge as well as Microsoft Internet Explorer? At the moment, I use both browsers.
Moderators Nergal Posted October 26, 2015 Moderators Share Posted October 26, 2015 5.02 is very very old, the oldest version to clean edge even a bit is 5.09 (edge cleaning was broken) and it is getting better now. Please install version 5.11 as this was released today ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
