sajjansinghania
I have, among others, WinXp Sp3, Firefox and Thunderbird. I installed CCleaner today. It is famous all over world. In my initial experience, I find it extremely useful. However, I have one question.I have disabled CC for running on FF and TB because CC changes some of my visual settings. Even theh CC changes them to defaut. http://i.imgur.com/AQ1xMzR.png Kindly help. Thank you in advance.
Moderators Nergal Posted October 14, 2015 Moderators Share Posted October 14, 2015 Sessions under firefox and thunderbird, I believe, if you uncheck these the issue will stop ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T. sajjansinghania
Sessions under firefox and thunderbird, I believe, if you uncheck these the issue will stop Sir, As is seen in the following link : http://i.imgur.com/AQ1xMzR.png Sessions is unticked, yet personal settings get tweaked. Also one more, I have many tweaks to personalize CC. How do I backup these settings for use in future, when reinstalling CC. Thank you.

Moderators Nergal Posted October 15, 2015 Moderators Share Posted October 15, 2015 As you have absolutely nothing checked in the firefox and thunderbird sections this can't be ccleaner doing it.
