charizard
Hey guys, I've used Recuva on 3 USB sticks so far, and the first 2 yielded great results. But on my 3rd USB stick, it's saying that it's finding 0 files when during the scan it says its found 676. I tried EaseUS and it found some files, but the current version is only a trial version and won't let me recover without a license. If anyone could shed some light as to what's happening, that would be great. Thanks
Moderators Augeas Posted April 11, 2015 Moderators Share Posted April 11, 2015 These are probably undeleted, zero length, system files etc that Recuva does not display by default. In Advanced Mode check all the boxes except Deep Scan in Options/Actions and you should see all the files.
charizard
I checked all the boxes, even the restore folder structure and didn't check the deep scan box. But it's still not showing any files ?
charizard
Now it's saying the following filles were not recovered reason: unable to recover a file of 0 size
Moderators Augeas Posted April 11, 2015 Moderators Share Posted April 11, 2015 If you're attempting a recovery you must be seeing some files, no? You can't recover a zero-byte file, there's er, zero point in doing so.
