Tobur
I have Avast Antivirus and it was normally enabled in 'Startup' - but suddenly it has disappeared altogether from the Ccleaner Startup list.
Moderators mta Posted January 5, 2015 Moderators Share Posted January 5, 2015 double check with MSCONFIG just to be sure. is Avast actually still running in the background? sometimes the AV part that gets started at startup (that is, as listed in MSCONFIG) is just the GUI or system tray icon, the actual real-time protection is a service started elsewhere. but for me, I'd want to see it all to get that warm-fuzzy feeling. so it may be best to simply reinstall Avast to get everything back to how it was.
