jessejp79
CCleaner used to remove 15MB to 400MB of data when activated. It has been a wonderful tool. Within the last month it will only remove no more than 5MB. Not sure why the sudden lack of efficiency. Standing by for guidance. Thanks. Take care.Respectfully,Jesse P
Moderators mta Posted September 22, 2014 Moderators Share Posted September 22, 2014 maybe an Admin person can change your member ID to not use your email address - you don't want every Tom, D*** and Harry to spam you ! have you the latest version? - v4.17.4808 have your settings changed; either by yourself or by an update? do you use winapp2.ini or any other CC enhancer? has your PC usage changed - could you actually be generating less crap? - different browser or something? check your settings for ".... older than 24 hours". Backup now & backup often. It's your digital life - protect it with a backup.Three things are certain; Birth, Death and loss of data. You control the last. Moderators Andavari Posted September 22, 2014 Moderators Share Posted September 22, 2014 (edited) @mta: A moderator has already notified the admin about him using his email address, it will be changed by the admin to a non-email member name, and the member will be notified of the change. --------------------- @jessejp79: Possibly the settings have went bad - it's happened to people before. There's two ways to redo the settings (note you'll have to re-configure CCleaner from scratch to your preferred settings): 1. Open CCleaner, Click: Options > Advanced > Restore default settings -or if the above doesn't work- 2. Uninstall CCleaner, Download CCleaner, and do a fresh installation.
