Shiden
Windows 7 Pro x64 Whenever I defrag my Seagate 1TB drive, the drive map starts displaying some data where there is blank space. It's freaking me out! I already checked my drive for errors, none found. My G: and S: are both using GPT instead of MBR but I don't see any weird stuff going on with C: or G: at all. During quick defrag: After: Is this on my end? Problem with Defraggler? If I select individual fragmented files and defrag those then I don't see anything weird. Only when I quick/full defrag the whole drive.
eL_PuSHeR
You need to defragment the $MFT (Master File Table) for NTFS filesystem. Alas, Defraggler can't do this, because Windows defragmentation API doesn't allow this. You will need a third party util to do this. The bad news is that most of them are paid but I think there is some Perfectdisc free edition or some other utils that can do this.
