johnski Posted August 27, 2012 Share Posted August 27, 2012 The Tools, Uninstall list displays the date a program was installed. We save this list to a text file. We then change the timezone of the PC from UTC+10:00 to UTC-5:00. We then run CCleaner and save another list of the installed programs. We then use WinMerge to display the differences in the two text files. The program date has changed (to the day before), for a small number of programs, not all. Why is this date different for only a small number of programs? Maybe all have changed!, by the timezone difference, but depending upon the time of installation, the day may not have changed. Why does CCleaner display different dates anyway? Can this bug be fixed so we can compare txt files? See attached Patch file... Patch.txt Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
