astonrox
when you open defraggler you can go over to file list. if you do that then hit analyze it comes up with a list of fragmented files. if you check mark all of those and click defrag it defragments it really really fast. then if you analye again it says there are no fragmentations. my question is, does going to the file list and defragging do the same thing as the normal defragment? both make the fragmentation go back to 0% but the list list is sooooooo fast. kroozer
File defrag is very fast cos it only defrags the files, it doesn't move them toward the beginning of the disk contiguously. It leaves blank spaces which are later filled in from file expansion, additions, etc.
