elmesr
When I first installed Speccy, it gave me temps for my CPU, MB and hard drive. I ran it again after not using the system for a while and now it does not show the MB temp. It also never reflected the graphic card temp, is this normal? When I launch the program, windows always asks if I want to permit the program to make changes to my system? Is this normal? Moderators Nergal Posted May 8, 2012 Moderators Share Posted May 8, 2012 Yes when it asks windows always asks if I want to permit the program to make changes to my system I believe what you are referring to is UAC. UAC approval (clicking yes) is nessecary for Speccy to work ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T. elmesr
Wow, how is that a reply to why Speccy doesn't show my mother board or graphics card temps??
Moderators Nergal Posted May 13, 2012 Moderators Share Posted May 13, 2012 it's not it's a reply to the last sentence/question. I can't answer why it showed before and not after. Have you updated your BIOS since the first install? Are you running any new (or updated) system wide security software? As far as gfx temp are you certain your card broadcasts this information? Also just noticed that your motherboard is a Apple MAC are you running dualboot? ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.
