garliccleaner
Thank you for stopping by and offering an opinion, and glad to be aboard the RMS Cclneaner indeed she surely is a fine vessel.. Okay, so I have been using Ccleaners registry cleaner for the past two days and saved each backup before cleaning. I now have a folder with something like 8 registry backups from Ccleaner. I think I am seeing some performance issues and little glitches as, how should I go about installing them? Most recent to oldest was sounded right to me, what say you? much obliged
kroozer
Select the most recent one, right click and Merge. If your problems persist, continue selecting and merging.
garliccleaner
thanks for chiming in. Well, I selected the first registry and selected merge but it would not work. Please see attachments only the 3 most recent installed out of 9 Edited September 14, 2011 by garliccleaner
kroozer
Because I've not had any trubbs from using CC's reg cleaner, I've merged a few times only for the experience. Your first image is stock MS message box which doesn't apply cos you're only adding back what you took out. As for the error accessing registry message -- recently another member reported a similar difficulty. Read Sophie's thread.
garliccleaner
Thank you, kroozer. I rebooted into safe mode and successfully merged all remaining registry files.
