Driver Backup

Recommended Posts

I thought it would be great to add a driver backup to Speccy.

Some of you may not know what I am talking about, so if you need to see what I mean, google Driver Magician Lite (free) to see what I am talking about.

I was thinking that the inclusion of a driver backup utility would vastly simplify situations where someone may be utilizing Speccy & be in need of a method to backup the drivers for the hardware they are speccying.

Sometimes hardware can be unstable/freeze because of a bad driver/driver update/misc, & it would be nice if Speccy could provide a method to assist users/developers by offering them a simplified manner of backing up all their drivers.

In this manner, people could troubleshoot the problem much quicker, without fear of what will happen if they need to see if the problem is resulting from a bad driver.
