da6t33x
Hi guys, I am a new and very enthousiastic ccleaner user. After using it for a while I still have one question: how can I clean multiple userprofiles? My Windows XP machine at home is shared by several users, everyone has a seperate userprofile in c:\documents and settings\ As administrator I would cleanup all profiles instead of only my own. How would you solve this?
Moderators Andavari Posted November 21, 2005 Moderators Share Posted November 21, 2005 If you're using Windows XP open the following folder in Windows Explorer: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup Create a new shortcut in that folder with the following parameters: "C:\Program Files\CCleaner\ccleaner.exe" /AUTO Name the shortcut whatever you wish, a good name would be: CCleaner Now when each user starts their user profile CCleaner will automatically clean junk files. Note: The Issues scanner won't be executed automatically, it has to be executed manually in order to remove issues from the registry.
