redhawk Posted December 26, 2010 Share Posted December 26, 2010 It's not possible defrag a network drive because you don't have low level access to the file system only access to files on request. The same is true for MTP devices used in some mp3 players they maybe external but low level access to the file system isn't possible either. Richard S.
