Christophersr
Just finished my first CCleaner sweep and all my Quicken files (for the past 3 years) have disappeared. Has this ever happened to anyone. If so, what can I do?
Moderators Nergal Posted August 18, 2010 Moderators Share Posted August 18, 2010 Ccleaner does not even touch quicken. where were you saving the quicken files? did you just run the cleaner section or did you run the registry section (if so see my signature) I've use ccleaner for years and never had it touch any of my quicken files. ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
