halder
Hello I am running Firefox 3.6 on Windows XP. I have been using CCleaner for years and always update the program. I recently updated CCleaner to version 2.31. When I run CCleaner to clean Firefox 3.6, I get a 2Kb and 6Kb cache size as if there is nothing in the cache to clean despite the fact that I have been surfing the net for a while. Previous versions of Firefox would show much larger cache size as does IE8. Why is CCleaner identifying such a small cache size when cleaning out Firefox? Is it a Firefox setting? thanks Halder
Thrak
Is FF set to empty its cache on exit? If so, you likely will not see a large cache size when running CCleaner.
halder
FF is set to "Never remember history" which is the same I guess as empty cache on exit. But even if this setting is in place, does this mean that FF, does not store anything at all on my PC as I surf the web??
