newbie... about trashed files

Hello

I did read the how toos unless theres more then I see on download page :)

I just tried ccleaner, as I had an old cleaner from a diff' maker that is very outdated.

ccleaner is awesome I must say :)

I carefully went thru' the registry cleaner and checked only files I knew could go and let the rest be.

It found files of temp nature in regular cleaner that I was happy to be rid of too.

My question is this if I can word it right....

My old cleaner program used to put the stuff it deleted in the trash bin after backing it up.

Where does the deleted stuff go after ccleaner disposes of them? My bin is empty.

Perhaps it has to do with the trash bin options in the software? The ones Im not sure what they meant LOL?

I only have open cc bin for recyc bin menu ticked nothing else to do w/ recyc bin.

also norm file delete ticked and mft free space ticked okay??

If you could enlighten me please?

Sincere thanks....artfreak

When CCleaner deletes something... it is deleted. You'll have to use Recuva (or another recovery program, but Recuva's very good) to recover them.

The Registry cleaner can make backups of what it deletes.

PS : Don't use Wipe Free Space - it's useless.
