Plender45
I am running Google Chrome browser with the Flash 10.1 beta. It shows up in CCleaner and I have it selected for cleaning, but after cleaning I check the flash storage manager and I see that websites still have data stored there! Anybody know how to sort this out, or if a new version of CCleaner will address this problem? Cheers. Peter.
Moderators Nergal Posted March 19, 2010 Moderators Share Posted March 19, 2010 Hi please search the forum for flash storage. the list of sites is stored in a general .sol file and if you were to use ccleaner to clean it it would delete it which would include settings for site you might wish to keep. I'd tell you which file but I've posted it multiple times and it takes a while for me to run regshot with a full c drive shot, clean the file and then regshot again, so I won't Sorry Search the forum ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
