Cymraes2008
For the past week, every time I run CrapCleaner it gives me tens of thousands of KB temp files. This happened a few minutes ago. I visited two sites and checked to see what CC would report. It deleted 227 files totalling 1,551 KB. This can't be right. Please advise.

Microsoft will end WinXP SP2 support in July. SP3 will not harm your computer, only help protecting it. Piriform French translator
Cymraes2008
I have Framework SP3.5 SP1. Maybe not the same one we're talking about.
marmite
I have Framework SP3.5 SP1. Maybe not the same one we're talking about. Aethec is referring to XP SP3. You should really do this for security reasons - there's absolutely no reason not to. The current Service Pack for .Net Framework 3.5 is SP1, so you're up-to-date there. Edited to add: incidentally, this is a complete aside from your original problem ... just a separate suggestion.
Cymraes2008
Okay, had MS come in to check for updates I'm missing. It didn't find any so I'm up to date whether I know it or not.

Good to know One way to check your OS SP level is to right-click 'My Computer' and hit 'Properties' ... you'll see it there.
