Installing and running CCleaner

I read about CCleaner in Readers Digest and I am trying to clean up my computer. When I tell it to analyze, it shows a large amount of stuff that needs cleaning. I don't know how to keep something from being deleted, i.e. it says Windows 7 - but it doesn't say what part of it needs to be deleted. Help please.

Hi I believe you are talking about the screen below

to see the full breakdown of each section just double click it :) (see picture 2)

ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION

DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.

Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark)

ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.

Thanks, I did that and that's when I saw stuff that I wasn't sure should be deleted but I couldn't figure out how to mark them delete or don't delete.
