FormerWAF
I read about CCleaner in Readers Digest and I am trying to clean up my computer. When I tell it to analyze, it shows a large amount of stuff that needs cleaning. I don't know how to keep something from being deleted, i.e. it says Windows 7 - but it doesn't say what part of it needs to be deleted. Help please. Moderators Nergal Posted February 15, 2010 Moderators Share Posted February 15, 2010 Hi I believe you are talking about the screen below to see the full breakdown of each section just double click it (see picture 2) ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T. FormerWAF
Hi I believe you are talking about the screen below to see the full breakdown of each section just double click it (see picture 2) Thanks, I did that and that's when I saw stuff that I wasn't sure should be deleted but I couldn't figure out how to mark them delete or don't delete.
