braindedd
I have now had it twice when running 2.26.1050 where I have selected a program to uninstall in the tools area and it has uninstalled the wrong program, seems the index for the listbox is off by one? Moderators DennisD Posted December 10, 2009 Moderators Share Posted December 10, 2009 A screenshot may help, as a warning message as shown below, or the programs own "Do You Want To Uninstall etc" message will show the discrepancy between what you click on and what actually happens. braindedd
This has happened on my work machine and home machine, both Windows XP Professional. I will screenshot if I can but I have only been able to reproduce it twice.
Moderators DennisD Posted December 16, 2009 Moderators Share Posted December 16, 2009 If it's intermittent, then it's gonna be pretty difficult to catch a screenshot. I haven't heard of this before, so I've been trying to think why it could happen. Maybe an updated program which has made a separate install with almost the same name. Sounds a bit lame that, but it's probably something equally simple being the cause. Either way, the devs do read these posts, and might come up with something. EDIT: Have you tried reinstalling CCleaner? Might just be a glitch in the install.
