bpm3k
I am trying to add bitdefender 8 free to my winapp2.ini: [bitDefender 8 Free] LangSecRef=3024 Detect=HKLM\Software\Softwin\BitDefender Antivirus Default=True FileKey1=%ProgramFiles%\Softwin\BitDefender8|vscan.log FileKey2=%DocumentsandSettings%\bob\Desktop\Security|getfile.dat FileKey3=%DocumentsandSettings%\bob\Desktop\Security|x_dtrace_log Everytime I update Bitdefender it creates getfile.dat and x_dtrace_log in the folder that contains the BD shortcut. I would like CCleaner to delete these two files. The filekey1 works great. But I cannot get 2 and 3 to work.

bpm3k
I use BitDefemder 9, and it doesn't store anything in Doc/Settings, what is the full path for 2 and 3? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> These files are appearing in the same folder where the bitdefender shortcut is. In my case that is: C:\Documents and Settings\bob\Desktop\Security If i move the bitdefender shortcut to the desktop then the 2 files will be created to my desktop. I am trying to attach a screen shot of my security folder but it keeps saying "The total filespace required to upload all the attached files is greater than your per post or global limit. Please reduce the number of attachments or the size of the attachments." The screen shot is only 47.5KB.

Moderators TwistedMetal Posted September 10, 2005 Moderators Share Posted September 10, 2005 I take it "bob" is your username, then use this: [bitDefender 8] LangSecRef=3024 Detect=HKLM\Software\Softwin\BitDefender Antivirus Default=True FileKey1=%ProgramFiles%\Softwin\BitDefender8|vscan.log FileKey2=%userprofile%\Desktop\Security|getfile.dat FileKey3=%userprofile%\Desktop\Security|x_dtrace_log Your Friendly Neighborhood Piriform Forum Moderator Quick Links: CCleaner Products | CCleaner Documentation | Knowledge Center | Downloads | Lost License Key
