Lavey
Hello guys! I'm kinda new here so please bear with me if i post this in a wrong section. My problem is after scanning the checked boxes i preferred, i noticed that there's alot of my system's temporary files are left behind(almost 2gigs) and ccleaner wouldn't remove it. Please take note i checked the temporary sys file box. Is there any way to solve this? Thanks!
ePost
Generally: files that are in use cannot be deleted. If you had open programs when running CCleaner the temp files that they were using wont get deleted. Files less that 24 hours old also wont get deleted unless you select that option in CCleaners advanced settings. Moderators hazelnut Posted October 9, 2009 Moderators Share Posted October 9, 2009 Also which operating system are you using? In ccleaner options > advanced do you have ''only delete windows files older than 48 hours ticked? What does it say most of the files are? Lavey
I'm using windows XP. I've unchecked the box in advanced options and ran ccleaner again and i was able to remove it all. Thank you for your help.
