warwick.t Posted June 7, 2009 Share Posted June 7, 2009 Hi: Three times I have tried a deep scan with Recuva v1.27.419 on my C: drive and each time get a Blue Screen of Death part way through the scan. WhoCrashed produces the following analysis of the dump file: This was likely caused by the following module: ntkrnlpa.exe Bugcheck code: 0x50 (0x80000015, 0x0, 0x805BCF14, 0x0) Error: PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA file path: C:\WINDOWS\system32\ntkrnlpa.exe product: Microsoft? Windows? Operating System company: Microsoft Corporation description: NT Kernel & System The crash took place in a standard Microsoft module. Likely the culprit is another driver on your system which cannot be identified. I am running Win XP, SP3 on a Dell Pentium 4, 3Ghz, 1GB RAM Any ideas?
