ishan_rulz
We have just released the first beta of Opera 10, which promises some great new features and a stunning new look. But what does this mean for web developers? Opera 10 beta includes the Presto 2.2 rendering engine, which features improvements across the board in terms of speed, stability, support for Web standards, and more. The Opera 10 beta has a 100/100 pass rate on the Acid 3 test! All future desktop builds will have this. Download Simplicity is hard.
Icedrake
Opera is once again now on my list of favorite browsers. My favs are: Chromium, and now Opera 10. Also blazing fast. Must be the fastest browser out there now! Personally though, I hate Opera's new look. It's so ugly and way too silvery. Barely any color. Ugh! TeeJay3800
Unfortunately, version 10 Beta does not recognize the hosts file entries (at least not for me). I posted this issue on the Opera forum here. TeeJay3800
Unfortunately, version 10 Beta does not recognize the hosts file entries (at least not for me). I posted this issue on the Opera forum here. I rebooted my computer, and ads are blocked again, so all is now good. Man version 10 is fast! The only issue with Turbo so far is that the Gmail log-in page won't finish loading when it's enabled. Moderators DennisD Posted June 4, 2009 Moderators Share Posted June 4, 2009 If anyones thinking of trying this, and already has Opera, it makes a seperate install. I thought it was pretty cool, although I only tried it for an hour or so.
