Tom AZ
Anyone have any experience with DBAN?? I have an old computer I'm thinking about getting rid of. From what I've read, DBAN seems like it might be the right tool for getting it ready for disposal. I'm looking for any tips or pointers that might be helpful before using this software. Tom AZ
So, about using DBAN . . . do you just download the progarm and put it on a CD -- then boot to that CD, or how does it actually work?

It over wipes the drives, just be warned it will also wipe any other hard drive it detects on the system. And you cant recova this.
