Can you give a bit more info please such as operating system, version of ccleaner used and what seems to be 'uncleaned'.

Don't mean each individual item but perhaps something of one type that you notice as there being a lot of.

when i run ccleaner it displays hundreds of megabytes to be cleaned, but after i run the application it only deletes a few megabytes. What is the problem?

The files are probably in use, so try with these steps:

1)Click start, run

2)Type Msconfig and press enter

3)Click Diagnostic Startup, Apply

4)Restart your computer and run CCleaner

To return to normal follow the previous steps except click Normal Startup instead of Diagnostic

The computer is mightier than the sword
