johnj7l
When I activate the start with windows so ccleaner runs at startup , I keep getting that popup window that says: USER account control A program needs your permission to continue Is there a way for this to not pop up and ccleaner will just run at startup? Moderators Nergal Posted March 18, 2009 Moderators Share Posted March 18, 2009 Much discussed already Short answer is No There are too many things that CCLeaner needs access to (I.e. Program Files Directory) that require UAC ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T. Miraranran
How about Run it from task scheduler? I make it recently and looks like working nicely. You could set schedule at startup up or on loggedin. Don't forget to set "Run with Highest Privileges" (General tab). Good luck
