To make matters worse I had a disc with some of the files saved on it and accidentally erased that!!! I found many of the files but when I try to recover them I get the following message: the volume does not contain recognized file system, please make sure that all required file system drivers are loaded and that the volume is not corrupted. I tried selecting just the files from the disk that I erased last night and received the same message. Shouldn't I be able to at least recover those that I opened from that disk last night?
