Wireless Issues...help

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Need a bit of help. I am trying to connect my laptop to my wireless router but when i refresh network list and click to connect to my network it doesn't allow me to enter the password for it. It is as though there is a default password which in not the correct one. I cant seem to find an option to change it.

So if anyone knows a way of finding and option to change the password..please let me know.

Thank you!

  • Start Menu -> Run
  • Type in "control netconnections" without the quotes.
  • Right click on the wireless adapter and go to properties.
  • There should be a tab for "Wireless Networks", click on it.
  • Look in the list for your router's SSID, left click on it and go to properties. You should be able to change the encryption and password there.

Sorry if this isn't 100% accurate, I'm doing it off of memory. I hope this helps.

There's no attached file :)

But if you are in the right place, you will have to change the method security and encryption for the grey boxes to turn white and allow you to enter a key.

PS, I've never played COD4 on the computer and I would have used my gaming tag of swagger if I did. :)
