YVN
I recently bought a new Dell computer running Vista Home Premium. When I first downloaded CCleaner and ran it I noticed that it does not show in the list of programmes (Start - Programmes). I uninstalled and re-installed it no change. I have updated to the latest version but it is still not listed It runs Ok from Windows Explorer - Programme Files. Please can anybody tell me how to get it to show in the Start - Programmes list
davey
Please can anybody tell me how to get it to show in the Start - Programmes list Hi YVN, Welcome !!! Did you download and install the complete version? When you install it will list several option BOXES. The first two boxes have to do with putting an ICON on the desktop and Start menu. Leave these boxes checked. The other boxes I always turn off. They can be reset later if desired. http://www.ccleanerbeginnersguide.com/ CCleaner Beginner's Guide.com Bookmark and save to Favorites New members Advice for CCleaner Start here with this link and follow its advice. http://forum.piriform.com/index.php?s=&...st&p=105208 Also see this link about the Registry and newbies. http://forum.piriform.com/index.php?s=&...ost&p=96510 Good wishes, davey
