removing issues from registry with CCleaner

Just wanted to double check to make sure I understoood correctly...is it always safe to delete registry errors with CCleaner?

As long as you save a backup then you can always go back.

 

If you are really paranoid you can create an ERUNT backup or image the system to an ISO CD for reinstall.

The safest Registry "cleaning" is NO REGISTRY CLEANING.

You like many others used the phrase "registry errors".

The Registry is similar to a phone book or name and address file.

You may have entries in those reference books for people or businesses that have died, moved, gone out of business etc.

You can still use those reference books for years and years and save very, very, very little time in your day to day work by trying to remove that old information. Matter of fact, you will spend more time doing so than any time savings that you expect to achieve.

 

The average user gains very, very , very little in doing so and risks a lot of trouble.

Why carry around a lead weight around your neck when you can take a knife and cut the sash holding it so that you can move with the speed of a young Cheetah?

 

I use CCleaner and RegSeeker's registry cleaners quite often after un-installing software to remove the waste that is left over then I use NTREGOPT to compact the registry.

The reason is because You are not an average user.

You are a "specialist" and you know how to get yourself out of "bad" situations.

If needs be you can restore all your system and user files and not blink an eye. You "cheetah".

 

Average users are not carrying a lead weight around on their neck. They don't need "knives" to cut anything.

All they need is a good, safe "cleaning" program like CCleaner, a defragment maybe once a month,

a good registry backup program package, ERUNT + NTREGOPT, Karens Replicator for data backup.

A little entertainment and some safe "surfing" security programs and a good data recovery program like Recuva.

They are good to go !!!

Oh yeah, don't forget "LOTS OF FUN".
