user4
After running CC, all cookies (except the ones that are to be ignored) are gone when checking by using the FF menu option, so everything seems to be all right. But for some reason there are still traces in the file cookies.sqlite. That file is bigger than it was before and (some of the?) visited websites are still in it, and can be seen. Restarting and closing FF does not help. What is that all about?
Moderators DennisD Posted August 6, 2008 Moderators Share Posted August 6, 2008 Hi user4, and welcome to the forum. I'm guessing you now use Firefox 3, as Mozilla has changed the format of it's log-in/settings cookies to .sqlite. There are a lot of posts on various forums about this, and I'm sure the CCleaner developers will be looking into it. Thanks for posting.
