Moderators rridgely Posted June 22, 2005 Moderators Share Posted June 22, 2005 Check out these two. They can edit audio, but I'm not sure about ripping it from video but it's worth a shot. Audacity http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ Wave Pad http://www.nch.com.au/wavepad/ Also you might find something you like better on this site. http://www.download.com/Audio-Production/3...-0.html?tag=dir
corjello
Well see, i need to take the audio from a video and then edit the audio. I dont really want to play through my speakers and record it through my mike, its already worse enough quality! so somehow i need to rip the audio off of my video that i have. Moderators rridgely Posted June 22, 2005 Moderators Share Posted June 22, 2005 Ok, I did some searching and I think I found an easier and better tool for you. All you should have to do is select the video file and this program should make a seperate mp3 file. You could then use one of the above programs to edit the audio. Go to the below link and look at the first program. http://www.snapfiles.com/freeware/gmm/fwvideconvert.html

corjello
that sound ripper was a very good program, you should add it to the freeware sticky. It was clean and simple, yet it had a good amount of options
