Keithuk Posted March 25, 2008 Share Posted March 25, 2008 Because I don't have admin rights on my WinXP at work I zipped up the Recuva folder and the CCleaner folder and unzipped them to their own folders in My Documents. CCleaner works as it should no problem. When I run Recuva and click on Scan it brings up an error message at the bottom Access denied. Do you need to have admin rights to run Recuva? (0x80070005) I've done a drive search for FileDriveImpl.cpp nothing comes up. I've done a web search for FileDriveImpl.cpp and nothing comes up.
