salm0n Posted January 21, 2008 Share Posted January 21, 2008 Hi I had a quite big movie on an external hdd, and it shows up when i scan it with recuva, and it says its excellent so should be recoverable, but when i try to recover it, no matter why i try to put it, it just says: in 0.0001 seconds 0 files were recovered I would really appreciate any tips which could help, as it was a home movie, and has big value, and not really something i can just rebuy Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Are you sure you have plenty of spare space (not on the external hd!) to recover the file? How much have you written to the hd since the file deletion?
