philc
Thank you CCleaner for a helpful and neat program Since two updates ago when manually checking for updates BOTH browsers open IE & Firefox although Firefox in Windows settings is the preferred browser . Does not cause any crashes but is only update session that does that . Interested to know why and how you do it OS is Xp Pro (fully patched) and up to date. Again thanks for a great little app Cheers from Australia
CTskifreak
Try unchecking Firefox as the main browser through your control pannel, select IE, apply it, then do it for Firefox and try it. See if that helps. AJ

Again thanks for a great little app Cheers from Australia I have this exact same issue, if I click check for update, both internet browsers open, and if I click the ccleaners link in the "about" menu, it opens in both as well... I'm on vista x64 and have made sure that all the associations were with firefox only...
