Mr Music
I have used CCleaner for a long time, many versions and have had no problems. Last night I installed the latest update. I noticed one of the changes was the 36 pass. So, I tried it. I did not change any other of my settings that were already in place. The CCleaner ran for over 6 hours. So, at this point I canceled the process. Nothing was erased. I then changed the setting to single pass. The program continued to scan without stopping again for an hour. I have usually used the 7 pass and always finished within 10 minutes or so. After canceling the single pass after the hour, nothing was erased. Is there a bug? I did try reinstalling from a different download point. Same issue. Can anyone help? Thanks for any help you can offer. I would hate to stop using this product due to a bug. I install the new version yesterday, and try to erased, i think that the program doesn'nt work correctly, nothing is erased. I have uninstalled and get back to the version 2.01, do you know how can we join Piriform staff for this problem. I think this bug must be fixed promptly.
