envirossf
Hi Everyone, I've got a problem deleting a string that shows up when I analyze and attempt to clean. The line is C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Dr Watson\user.dmp 0.15MB. No matter how I try, I can't get CCleaner to delete it. Any ideas, suggestions, links, etc., would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for the help.
Glenn
Are you running CCleaner as a user with admin rights? Can you manually delete the file?
envirossf
Thanks for replying Glen. I manually deleted the file twice and it reappeared upon reboot. I finally used system restore, found a point before the file appeared and stayed there. Rebooted, ran CCleaner and file is gone.
Glenn
Dr Watson\user.dmp is a crash dump file. Was a program crashing? Note that if you don't use the dump file to debug, you can disable it in the Dr Watson settings panel.

unsober
Dr Watson caused a lot of problems with me a few weeks ago.. a program crashed, and Dr Watson kept popping up after that.. it wouldn't go away, I thought it was a virus or something.. it would always randomly appear in my proccesses had to reboot in safe mode and disable it it's a weird program. it's a good idea to turn it off
